A LOW KEY DATE WITH THE ONE YOU LOVE

4.01.2015

date night in//a stylish little lady
this weekend in some ways was perfect.  we had nothing planned and could do just about anything. and out of all the millions of things we could have done, saturday night the hubby and i made ourselves comfy on the sofa.  lit a candle or two.  binged on college basketball.  and ate leftover mexican food followed by some tasty talenti.  sometimes it's just nice to slow your roll and kick back with your love.  and let me just say, if you have not tried talenti gelato's, get yourself to a store stat.  i'm on a mission to make my way thru all the flavors and if  a talenti rep just happens to be reading this ... free product in exchange for raving reviews could be arranged!  just sayin' ...

so yes, i sometimes like a good low key, simple, inexpensive date. do you?

what do you do with your love that cost very little or nothing at all?

sidenote//looking for some date night in supplies?  stock up on some talenti and share it with those wooden spoons.  slip into that kimono and the slippers to get comfy. burn your favorite incense in that little hut. now sit back and become drenched in the vibe of nina simone and sam cooke. and since some of these items are from etsy, you can enter to win an etsy gift card here

peace to your heart.
later.

    1. yes it is! sometimes you just need to do nothing and just relax and enjoy the moment. and if you are able to find the gelato out your way, scoop it up!

  2. I'm so with you on being a "cheap date"!
We've even been known to buy a bucket of chicken and go sit at a picnic table at a local park for our anniversary dinner - one of my absolute all time favorite memories in our 35 years of marriage.
As for Talenti - I will gladly join you in free samples for LOUD PRAISE!!
