"because the internet is a medium, it doesn't care whether it transmits love or hate. it is what we build...we can build things that diminish humanity or build things that bring us to human flourishing." ~caterina fake
this week, i came across this quote posted on mighty girl which led me to the #mightylove project. between now and april 12th, the go mighty girls are wanting to flood the internet with compliments to all the women in our lives we are grateful for and happy to know. use your instagram, twitter, or blogs to send out positive words of love and be sure to include the hash tag, #mightylove. each hash tagged post, tweet, or instagram, will count towards a goal of 500 compliments given by next friday. and if the goal is reached, go mighty will donate $500 to a battered women's shelter in nyc. i am so happy to take part in this project. won't you join me and help put the internet to positive use?...
you can post as many compliments as you like, so go spread some #mightylove!
ps..my first compliment will be given to @natthefatrat for being such a beautiful, compassionate woman and dreaming up such a project to help bring a little love to the web. you ROCK sista! AND...if you do not have a blog nor any of the social media accounts listed, just add a comment to this post and give your shout out here.
